Federal Representatives
Our Kansas Senators are Jerry Moran (R) and Roger Marshall (R). Moran was first elected to the Senate in 2006 and Marshall in 2020. Senate terms are six years. Marshall's term will end in 2026. Jerry Moran was re-elected in 2022, and his new term will end in 2028.
There are four congressional districts in Kansas: 1st District representative is Tracey Mann (R); 2nd District, Derek Schmidt (R); 3rd District, Sharice Davids (D); and 4th District Ron Estes (R). Leavenworth County is in the 2nd District.

After the 2020 census, Kansas district boundaries were redrawn, and the result was largely criticized for gerrymandering. Now, Leavenworth County contains four KS House Districts (38, 40, 41 and 42) and three Senate Districts (1, 5, and 9).
Leavenworth County's Kansas Senators were elected in 2024 and are as follows: 1st District Senator is Craig Bowser (R); 5th District Senator is Jeff Klemp (R); 9th District Senator is Beverly Gossage (R). Democrats lost the 5th District in 2024 by only 41 votes. These seats will be up for reelection in 2028.
